That’s where we come in. We have over 10 years of experience in assisting students to realize their dreams of coming to Japan on a study trip. This means we can utilize our partnerships with schools and more than 50 cultural activities to plan the perfect educational experience for your group.

Read on to learn more about the benefits of planning a custom tour with Go! Go! Nihon, and how we simplify the process for you ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for your group.

Personalized group trips to Japan

Go! Go! Nihon Study Trips are designed to cater to the unique needs of each group. From cultural workshops to activities based on specific themes, we offer a variety of activities tailored to enhance students’ learning experiences in Japan. During the planning process, you’ll have the chance to work directly with our staff, who will help you choose activities that align with your curriculum and goals to ensure a personalized experience.

For example, a University partner we worked with requested activities on the themes of sustainability. So, we arranged a unique cooking class for their group in which leftover vegetable peels and scraps, which would have been otherwise thrown away, were repurposed to make intricately designed (and delicious!) sushi rolls.

What is it like planning group trips to Japan with Go! Go! Nihon Study Trips?

Planning a trip for yourself can be hard enough, but planning for a group is a completely different challenge. You may be asking how you can find a hotel for 30 people, or which company provides the best tea ceremony experience? Our team takes care of all the details using local expertise to arrange Japanese lessons with schools, accommodation, and of course all the activities. We can also include additional services such as pocket wifi, airport transfers, and travel insurance to make your to-do list even smaller.

Go! Go! Nihon facilitates seamless communication between our suppliers, teachers, students, and our team, ensuring that everyone is well-informed about the itinerary, necessary preparations, activities, and any changes. This transparency contributes to a stress-free and enjoyable experience for all.

One of our partners said “Crystal and Aya made it incredibly easy to organize this trip. It was an absolute pleasure working with the organizing team. The program was well curated to the objectives of the study tour.”

Welcoming tour leaders

Our tour leaders will be with you throughout any of your group trips to Japan. They are there of course to make sure everything runs smoothly and provide translation when needed, but also to share their unique perspectives and cultural insights from having lived in Japan. Depending on the size of your group and the number of staff you bring along, we may allocate more than one Tour Leader to better help support your group. We will create a personalized Discord Channel where participants can communicate with each other and the Tour Leaders. This is also where we post reminders and updates about the activities and meeting times. Our Tour Leaders have an average satisfaction rating of 9.6/10, and here is what some of our 2023 students and partners had to say about us:

“They were always there to help out and clear out any problems we had (even if they were not directly related to the course or activities). They were always cheerful and full of energy, brightening the mood and made sure everyone was included.”

“Go! Go! Nihon/Study Trip has employed some amazing staff, words cannot begin to describe how inviting the vibe was, which as someone on holiday is exactly what I would want from the people helping me.”

“The highlights were the excellent tour guides allocated to our tour. Jose and Blair injected the much-needed insights into the different experiences and their personalities made the whole experience absolutely wonderful.”

Cultural Immersion for Students

Go! Go! Nihon Study Trips are not just about taking a holiday in Japan. They’re about immersing students in the Japanese language with hands-on experiences like shibori and taiko lessons, or visits to historical sites like Kamakura’s Great Buddha Statue and Hasedera. Depending on the school, you can expect between 12-15 hours of class time per week as well as a few hours of homework. Usually, our courses include 2-3 activities per week to allow for plenty of free time and additional time to study, but of course, we can include more depending on your group’s preferences.

Through language classes and cultural activities, students can engage with Japanese culture, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for Japan’s history and traditions.

One of our partners said, “The experiences and attractions visited really encompassed the essence of Japanese culture and commerce while also allowing for an enjoyable tour.”
