- Sing your heart out at Karaoke
We're sure you've heard of karaoke, but have you experienced Japanese style karaoke? In a private booth for your group, two microphones and take it in turns to sing along to your favourite songs. If you are brave enough, why not whip out those Japanese songs you know to impress your new friends!
- Sumo Restaurant
Enjoy an evening in Ryogoku - The home town of sumo wrestling. What could be better than feasting on a perfectly sumo-sized meal of Chanko Nabe (sumo stew or hot pot) with some complimentary Japanese dishes on a cold autumn day. In the middle of the restaurant is a sumo ring used by retired sumo wrestlers, musicians and performers who will entertain you during your meal.
- Explore Harajuku and Shibuya
First, there's the modern and ever-popular Harajuku, famous for everything cute and colorful. Then we have Omotesando with more up market boutiques, trendy cafes and bars. This tour then continuous to historical and very famous Meiji Shrine - a shrine dedicated to the spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife. Enjoying a stroll through Yoyogi park before heading down to Shibuya Crossing, where you'll experience the rush of people crossing the street from all directions, such a cool experience!
- Sample some sake
Sample the delights of a local sake brewery in a guided tour followed by some sample tasting. Spot the difference and see if you could become a connoisseur.
- Relax at a Tea Ceremony
Join us for an immersion into Japanese culture by learning the subtle and peaceful art of serving and drinking Japanese green tea (matcha). The ceremony is held in a traditional setting originating from the 1600s. The buildings have been tastefully restored and are now used for activities such as art and crafts, culinary and culture. It's even used as a film set occasionally. The taste of matcha tea might not be to everyone's taste but don't worry, the slightly bitter taste is paired perfectly with a traditional Japanese sweet (wagashi).
- Travel to Vibrant Nikko
A breathtaking site in the autumn months, a trip to Nikko is a must. Behold the ornate Edo shrine against the backdrop of the red and yellow leaves.
