Cancellation and Refund Policy

Once you have paid your application fee, you will have the option to pay the rest of the course fee separately through PayPal or international bank transfer. The fee must be paid in full by the course application deadline, or we will be forced to cancel your reservation. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend the course, we offer the following refund policy. (Please note that this is only available on the remaining balance of your trip, the application fee is non-refundable. If you have purchased a gift card, please note this is non-refundable, please refer to here for more information).
  • Before app deadline: Full refund
  • Between app deadline and 45 days before course start: 75% refund
  • Between 45 and 30 days before course start: 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days before course start: No refund
In the event of a cancellation outside of your control, such as serious illness or injury this policy may vary at the discretion of the team. In this instance, we will require a medical certificate and the refund amount may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation. If we have already incurred expenses for the organization of the trip, we may not be able to fully refund the costs.


Due to uncertainties in world travel due to Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) we would like to inform all bookers that if you book a trip and wish to cancel your trip the above policy is still applicable. If you have completed your payment in full and are unable to attend due to ongoing issues with travel, but would like to delay your trip, we will move all fees already paid to a future trip. For specific conditions please contact the team.
  • You can postpone your trip up to 1 year from the date the borders officially re-open to tourists. For example, if you booked a trip in June 2022, the borders open from July 2022, you will be able to postpone/select a new trip up until July 2023.
  • If you choose a trip where the cost is higher than that of the original trip booked, you will be required to pay the difference.
  • Should you be unable to join another trip within a year of your original booking, it will be possible to gift the trip to a friend or sibling.
  • In the event that you postpone within 7 days before the start of the trip, please note that some non-movable fees may be applicable.
  • Once you have decided to postpone your trip, it is not possible to then cancel and request refund at a later stage.
