Cancellation and Refund Policy
Once you have paid your application fee, you will have the option to pay the rest of the course fee separately through PayPal or international bank transfer. The fee must be paid in full by the course application deadline, or we will be forced to cancel your reservation. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend the course, we offer the following refund policy. (Please note that this is only available on the remaining balance of your trip, the application fee is non-refundable. If you have purchased a gift card, please note this is non-refundable, please refer to here for more information).
- Before app deadline: Full refund
- Between app deadline and 45 days before course start: 75% refund
- Between 45 and 30 days before course start: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before course start: No refund
In the event of a cancellation outside of your control, such as serious illness or injury this policy may vary at the discretion of the Studytrip.com team. In this instance, we will require a medical certificate and the refund amount may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation. If we have already incurred expenses for the organization of the trip, we may not be able to fully refund the costs.
For Akita School courses, the initial deposit and remaining tuition fees are non-refundable. However, students are allowed to change the booking to any future Akita course within 24 months of the original booking without additional fees (a written notice of minimum 30 days before the course starts is required).
